Download Andito
Andito watches over someone at home through a camera on a computer in their room, and keeps their family up to date. Install it on the computer that will stay by the bed.

Windows will say “Windows protected your PC” the first time you run it, because Andito is a new program it doesn’t recognise yet. Click More info, then Run anyway.
What you need
- A Windows computer that can stay in the room, plugged in, with the lid open. A laptop is ideal — its camera is already there.
- Somewhere to put it where the camera faces the bed. A separate webcam works too; plug it in before you start.
- Wi-Fi, and about an hour. Andito downloads what it needs to understand the camera the first time, and that part is large.
What happens after you install it
- Andito appears as a small icon near the clock and asks for a pairing code.
- The person with the Andito account gets that code from their dashboard, under Settings, and can read it out or text it to you. It lasts 15 minutes.
- Type it in, and Andito starts watching. It keeps running on its own after that, including after the computer restarts.
What it does and doesn’t send
The video is looked at on that computer and is never uploaded or recorded. What leaves the house is a short written summary of the day, a few safe snapshots, and a text message if something needs attention now.
